1655 Mr. Lawrence H. Bussiere, 75, died on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at his home. He was born in Webster, MA on November 29, 1940, son of the late Lawrence and Sarah (Chamberlain) Bussiere. He is survived by his three children, Darlene Rodowicz and her husband Robert of Cheshire, Wendy Dubis and her husband Thomas of Cheshire and Shaun Bussiere and his wife Hope of Adams, his sister Roberta Burke of Stafford, VA, 10 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandsons and his former wife, Patricia (LaRocque) Bussiere of Adams.
Funeral services and burial will be private for the family.

1656 Mr. Russell H. Bussiere, 70, of W. River Road, died in December while doing what he enjoyed most - hunting. Born in Concord on May 1, 1937, Mr. Bussiere was the son of Arthur and Harriett (Duckworth) Bussiere. He had lived almost 40 years in Suncook before making his home in Hooksett in 1975. He joined the US Army in 1959, serving in Germany with the 18th Infantry Division and later assigned to the Army Reserve. He was a member of the John J. Maguire American Legion Post #2860 and the VFW Post #28, both of Suncook. Russell worked for National Fence and Granite for 32 years and founded Granite State Curbing Setters in 1986. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the Suncook Valley Rod & Gun Club. Also a Red Sox fan, he was a season ticket holder for the Winter League in Fort Myers, FL. Mr. Bussiere was the widower of Barbara (Williams) Bussiere, to whom he had been married 37 years. He is survived by 3 children and their spouses, Kathy and David Carter of Center Barnstead, Michael and Susan Bussiere of Allenstown, and Richard and Jessica Bussiere of Pembroke; his companion, Sue Cabaniss of Hooksett; 5 grandchildren, Keith and Jenny carter of barnstead, Nicholas and Taylor Bussiere of Allenstown, and Nathaniel Bussiere of Pembroke; a brother, Richard Bussiere of Hooksett; sister, Ann Emond of Hooksett; a step-sister, Esther Perron of Concord; and nieces and nephews. Bussière, Russell (I11357)

A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Yvon Bussieres will be conducted at the Sundridge Church of Christ on Highway 124 on Saturday October 10, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with Mr. Steve May officiating.

1658 Mrs. Marguerite M. Swigris, 45, died yesterday at St. Francis Hospital. She was born at Bevier, Mo., Dec. 30, 1920. She was a daughter of Theophile and Helena Busiere. She married Victor Swigris in Peoria in Sept. 1946. Surviving are her husband; one son, Craig Underwood of Peoria; three brothers, Lucian, Maurice, and Leonard Busiere, all of Terre Haute, Ind.; and five sisters, Mrs. William Elder, also of Terre Haute, Ind., Mrs. Leo Kerby of Jacksonville, Ark., and Mrs. Joseph Matarelli, Mrs. Kenneth Stokes and Mrs. Walter Kennedy, all of Peoria. 1659 Mrs. Patricia A. (LaRocque) Bussiere, 81, of Cheshire, died on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at her home.
She was born in Dalton on June 30, 1941, daughter of the late Leo and Helen (Callahan) LaRocque. She attended schools in Dalton and graduated from the former Dalton High School.Mrs. Bussiere last worked in the intake department of the former VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire until her retirement. Earlier she had worked for the former CompCare in Adams, the Miss Adams Diner and had been the owner and operator of the former Harbor Woolen Clothing Store in Adams.
She was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II, Adams. Pat enjoyed reading, building jigsaw puzzles, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. She loved traveling and spending her summers at camp with family and friends.
She is survived by her two daughters, Darlene Rodowicz and her husband Robert and Wendy Dubis and her husband Thomas, all of Cheshire; her son, Shaun Bussiere and his wife Hope of Adams; ten grandchildren, Thomas Dubis and his wife Heather, Jennifer Dubis, Julie Dubis and her fiancé Bryan Lillie, Lauren Rodowicz and her husband Benjamin Woolnough, Matthew Rodowicz and his wife Lauren, Emily Rodowicz and her fiancé Taylor Krozy, Megan Rodowicz, Courtney Bird, Molly Bussiere and James Dix; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her twin sons, Douglas and David Bussiere, her brother George LaRocque and by her former husband Lawrence Bussiere.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 31st at 9:00 A.M. from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, Adams.
Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery.

1662 MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Doris C. Bussiere of Myrtle Beach, formerly from Lewiston, Maine, at the age of 78, passed away quietly in her home on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018. Daughter of Ralph and Marie (Filteau) Poirier, born June 19, 1940. Educated in Lewiston. She worked as a bookkeeper for Bussiere and Matthews construction company, Veribest Print Craft, various other jobs, retiring from TD Bank. Avid knitter, quilter, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, playing cards, bingo and eating lobster. Member of Carolina Forest Senior Center. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Alfred Bussiere of 57 years; daughter, Brigite Marie (Bussiere) Babine and her husband, John G Babine; daughter, Celine G. (Bussiere) Lagasse. She was predeceased by her son, Raymond A. Bussiere Jr. and son-in-law Robert J. Lagasse. Doris had five grandchildren, John G. (Babine) Butterfield, his husband, Wayne Butterfield, Jessica M. 1663 Myrtle Bussiere Gulick of Gladstone, N.J., died at home on March 3, 2010, after a short Illness. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. at the Peapack Union Cemetery on Mendham Road in Gladstone. Arrangements are by the Bailey Funeral Home of Peapack, . Born in Newark, Myrtle was a product of the Newark public schools. Majoring in commercial studies, she frequently participated in stenography contests, an art which she kept until her death. Graduating from high school at the age of 16, she went to work as a legal secretary in Newark. When the law firm broke up, she became the private legal secretary for Ronald A. Gulick. Some years after that, they were married and she moved to Gladstone. After Mr. Gulick's death in 1969, Myrtle worked for many years for Stryker, Tams & Dill in Newark, and became the office manager of their office in Morristown when it opened. Later she became a paralegal/legal secretary for Nichols, Thomson, Peek and Phelan in Westfield, from which she retired in 2008 after 71 years of work in the legal field. She is survived by a nephew, James J. Bussiere Sr., and his children, Courtney and Jimmy, and by her niece, Carol Bussiere, and her son, Greyson. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Children's Specialized Hospital Foundation, 150 New Providence Rd., Mountainside, N.J., 07092, in her memory would be appreciated.

1667 Nancy Sawyer, 64 of Dunnellon Florida, returned to her heavenly home on March 12, 2017, after a valiant battle with cancer. Her devotion to her family, friends, little dog (Lucy) and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.
Nancy was born on August 2, 1952 in Elizabeth, NJ and lived in Neptune, before moving to Dunnellon, Florida in 1980. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, loved to go hunting, fishing and enjoyed the outdoors. Nancy was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends that will hold her in their hearts forever.
Nancy joins her brothers, James Bussiere and Louis Bussiere in heaven.
She is survived by her mother and father, George Bussiere, Ocala Florida and Florence (Dolly) Bussiere of Toms River, New Jersey. Those left to treasure her many memories are her beloved husband, Robert Sawyer; her son, Robert Michael Sawyer; her loving sister, Gail Johnson and her husband, Robert; and her brother, George Bussiere, and his wife, Lucille; and her loving aunt, Dorothea Windsor along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

1682 NEW BRITIAN, Conn., and FORT KENT - Yvon G. Bussieres, 62, passed peacefully Jan. 31, 2012, at his home in Fort Kent. He was born March 31, 1949, in St. Prosper, Quebec, the son of Benoit and Simone (Boulet) Bussieres. Yvon was known as a hard worker all of his life, with jobs ranging from delivering baked goods at people's homes in St. Prosper, Quebec, working in a factory in Biddeford, and finally working on construction for 42 years in Connecticut doing roofing and siding until his illness. He really loved his work and was owner of Yvon's Siding. He enjoyed the companionship of his friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand. One of his biggest passions was watching his hockey and drinking his Pepsi. He is survived by his parents, Benoit and Simone Bussieres of St. Prosper, Quebec; his wife of 40 years, Dolores "Diane" Daigle Bussieres of Fort Kent; one son, Brian Bussieres and companion, Rose Ouellette, of St. Francois, New Brunswick; two daughters, Nicole and Lamarr Russ of Plantville, Conn., and Cheryl and Scott Robichaud of Fort Kent; and seven grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Amanda and Austin Bussieres, Keon Russ, Adrien and Karley Robichaud. He is also survived by three brothers and their wives, Martin and Louisette Bussieres of St. Damase, Quebec, Denis and Dany Bussieres, and Serge and Danielle Bussieres, both of St. Prosper Quebec. He also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, and 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent, where a celebration of Yvon's life will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4. Nick was an outdoors person, he enjoyed riding dirt bikes, snowmobiles and snowboarding. Anything he could do working with his hands, he did mechanics and loved being a heavy equipment operator. His family and friends he always held dear and enjoyed the time he spent with them. She was born on May 16, 1932 in Pembroke the daughter of the late Arthur and Harriett (Duckworth) Bussiere. Ann worked for many years as a production worker with Sylvania. She was a member of the Hooksett Garden Club, and she would help with the weekly cleanings in her church community at Holy Rosary Parish in Hooksett. She enjoyed knitting, her weekly Cribbage games, bowling and even took up skiing late in life. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Norbert A. Emond. She is survived by her children, James Emond of Hooksett, Richard Emond and his wife Deb of Hooksett, Gail Emond and her wife Lynn Kehoe of WA, Kevin Emond and his wife Helen of Barnstead, Lisa Emond of ME, one grandson, Matthew Emond and several nieces and nephews. 1693 NORMAN L. BUSSIERE, age 91, of Kennett Square, PA, passed away on Monday,June19,2017, at Crosslands, eight months after the death of his beloved wife of 65years,Ruth W. Bussiere. Born in St. Johnsbury, VT, he was the eldest of six children of John A. Bussiere and Ida Charron Bussiere. After service in WWII, Mr. Bussiere attended the University of CT and Columbia University. Mr. Bussiere spent the majority of his career as a high-school principal at James Caldwell High School (NJ), Scarsdale High School (NY), and Shoreham-Wading River High School (NY). A lifelong student, he attended graduate classes in Philosophy at Stony Brook University after he retired in 1991. Mr. Bussiere is survived by one brother, Bernard, and his wife Betsy of East Hartford; one son, Robert D. Bussiere, and his wife Alice of Wilmington, DE; two daughters, Jeanne B. Stephens and her husband James of Shaker Heights, OH, and Elizabeth Bussiere and her husband Daniel Cohen of Worcester, MA; and four grandchildren and one great grandchild. 1694 NORTH SMITHFIELD - Sigefroid "Jeff" Bussiere, 76, of 66 Greenville Road, died yesterday in Fogarty Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Emma (Remillard) Bussiere.
Born Nov. 13, 1906, in Woonsocket, a son of the late Joseph W. and Aurea (Gendron) Bussiere, he moved to North Smithfield 22 years ago.
Mr. Bussiere was a textile overseer for the former Bell Worsted Co. for 20 years, then served at Heller Knitting Co. for 14 years, and retired from the former Bonte Sprinning Co. in 1971 after four years of service.
Mr. and Mrs. Bussiere were married Oct. 7, 1933, in Holy Family Church and were lifelong communicants of that parish.
He is also survived by a son, Robert of Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Lacroix of Merrimac, N.H., six grandchildren and a great-grandson.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Prata Funeral Home, 76 Providence St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in Holy Family Church, both in Woonsocket. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
Calling hours tomorrow will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

1695 NORTHFIELD - Jacqueline Mae Bussiere, 84, died Friday, April 26, 2013, in Northfield.
She was born Feb. 20, 1929, in Montpelier, the daughter of Harry and Rose (Loiselle) Hughes.
She attended the former St. Michael's High School in Montpelier and married Wilfred Neal Bussiere in August 1949 in Northfield Falls.
Mrs. Bussiere was employed for five years as a switchboard operator at New England Telephone in Montpelier and later worked as a teacher's aide in Northfield High School, as well as being a homemaker.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in Northfield and St. Augustine's Church in Montpelier.
She enjoyed sewing, reading, cards, playing cribbage "for a quarter," old movies, and was known for her quick wit and good sense of humor.
Survivors include four daughters, Bonnie Gayle, Cynthia Pittinger, both of Northfield, Leslie Covey of Williamstown and Jamie Bussiere of Colchester; three sons, Mark Bussiere of Barre, Wilfred Bussiere of Northfield and Jason Bussiere of Cottage Grove, Minn.; a sister, Lorraine Muncil of Burlington; 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bussiere was predeceased by her husband in 1993 and seven siblings.
In Northfield, the funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, at St. John the Evangelist Church with the Rev. Dwight Baker, pastor, as celebrant and followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery.

Elle était l'épouse de feu monsieur Jean-Marc Bussières. Elle était la fille de feu monsieur Louis-Marie Thériault et de feu madame Albertine Ouellet. Plusieurs se souviendront d'avoir rencontré madame Thériault au Pavillon Blouin du Centre hospitalier d'Amqui où elle y a travaillé pendant plus de 37 ans. Elle a quitté les siens pour rejoindre d’autres horizons. Devenue une étoile, du firmament, elle veillera sur les siens en compagnie de tous ceux et celles qui lui ont tant manqué.
