- LEWISTON - Aline Bussiere Therrien, 100, of 47 McArthur Ave., Lewiston, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, at the dYouville Pavilion, where she had been a resident for the past month.She was born on Aug. 23, 1910, in St. Gabriel de Brandon, P.Q., Canada, the daughter of Alderic and Delia Lachapelle Therrien. She immigrated to Woonsocket, R.I., at the age of 10. On July 15, 1929, she married Henry Bussiere at St. Annes Church in Woonsocket. Mr. Bussiere passed away in 1961. She moved to Maine in 1930, and worked in the Bates Mill until 1951. She was proud of becoming a U.S. citizen in the 1930s, and could best be described as a selfless and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to travel, especially on visits to her great-grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter, Aline Cosgrove of Lewiston; five grandchildren, Patricia and husband, Robert Serafin, of Carmel, N.Y., Charles Cosgrove and wife, Colette, of Great Falls, Va., Thomas Cosgrove and wife, Paula, of Langhorne, Pa., Dr. Sarah and husband, Dr. Russell Larsen, of Iowa City, Iowa, and Stephen Cosgrove and wife, Dr. Gina Cosgrove, of Clifton Park, N.Y.; 15 great-grandchildren, Robert Serafin of New York, N.Y., Allison Serafin of St. Petersburg, Fla., Katherine Serafin of Cornvallis, Ore., Julia Serafin of Carmel, N.Y., Riley and Griffin Cosgrove of Great Falls, Va., Susan Cosgrove of Madison, Wis., Kelley, Kimberly, and Sarah Cosgrove of Langhorne, Pa., Elizabeth and Peter Larsen of Iowa City, Iowa, and Matthew, Andrew, and Kaitelyn Cosgrove of Clifton Park, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.
