- Entrepeneur and former physical education teacher. Tom was born in Northampton, Massachussetts, the son of the late Dolor G. and Celia H. Bussiere, graduated from Hopkins Academy in Hadley, MA in 1968 and Central Connecticut State College in 1972. A former physical education teacher, Tom moved to Colorado in 1980. He was a partner with Gary Machetta in Virotek, a chemical warewashing company in Denver for over 15 years. Tom passed away at his home, surrounded by his family and friends September 16, 2005. He is survived by his wife Nancy Ross Bussiere; brother Ray Bussiere and wife Sharon of Denver, Colorado; three sisters, Connie Niedzielski of W. Springfield, MA., Dolores Berestka and husband Larry of Princeton, MA, and Jackie Bussiere and husband David Bernier of W. Winfield, NY., as well as several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service, celebrating his life, will be Monday 4:00 PM, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3201 South Parker Rd. In lieu of flowers, personal and corporate contributions suggested to the Thomas Noel Bussiere Memorial Fund c/o Mountain States Bank, 1635 E. Colfax Ave. Denver, CO. 80216. These contributions will be earmarked for germ cell cancer research.
