- Paul A. Bussiere, 61, of Peterborough, NH, passed away unexpectedly at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
Paul was born on August 14, 1963, in Peterborough, NH, son of the late Robert E. and Stella (Bourgoine) Bussiere. He was a 1981 graduate of Conant High School and had attended college in Concord, NH. Paul actually began his career as a print operator working with the Lawn Family at Savron Graphics during high school. He developed his skills and talents further working with Sims Press, NEBS and with the Nashua Telegraph. Paul was a man of the outdoors, known for his love of hunting and fishing. His adventurous spirit and connection to nature were integral parts of his life, bringing him joy and fulfillment. Beyond his professional accomplishments and hobbies, Paul took great pride in his resilience. Throughout his life, Paul faced and overcame significant challenges, becoming a source of inspiration to those around him. He was a proud cancer survivor and had also survived a serious motorcycle accident, exhibiting an unwavering spirit and determination that left a lasting impression on friends and family. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Marie Bussiere, on May 12, 1994. He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Candace (Hopps) Bussiere of Peterborough, his brothers, Steven Bussiere and Kenneth Bussiere, and by his sister Linda Guyette. He will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
