- Passed away peacefully on May 6, 2020 at the age of 83. Paul will be deeply missed by his life partner, Jo-Anne Leduc. Fondly remembered by his stepson Jason (Johanne) and grandchildren Jillianne and Jonathan, as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Bernadette Bussiere. He will be missed by his brothers Marcel (Rosalie), Gerard (Helene) and Andre (Francoise). Paul was predeceased by his sister Jeanine and brothers Arthur and Roger. Throughout his life, Paul had a compulsive sense of humour and an endless store of funny stories. He was awarded the Medaille d'Honneur du Grand Or by the government of France in recognition of his 47 years of service with the Embassy of France in Ottawa.
