- HOLYOKE-- Robert B. Bussiere, age 40, died Sunday May 15, 2005. He was born in Holyoke, was educated in the Holyoke Schools, and was a graduate of Holyoke High School. Robert has been employed at Holyoke Hospital for more than fifteen years, and was also a twenty year bartender at the Brian Boru Club of Holyoke. He had been an alter server at Holy Cross Church in his youth, and was a longtime softball player in the Holyoke Adult League. Robert was predeceased by his father Emile O. Bussiere in 1989. He ws survived by his mother Bevery A. (Lucia) Bussiere-Pelkey and step-father David Pelkey of Holyoke, a daughter Jamie of Holyoke. One Brother: Bruce Bussiere and his wife Lyn of Agawam. One Sister: Brenda Morris and her husband Robert of Holyoke, as well as five ieces & nephews: Heather, Zack, Courtney, and Brittney Bussiere, and Madison Morris. The Funeral will be held Friday Morning at 9:00 from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St., followed by a Mass in Holy Cross Church at 10:00. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of his family. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7PM.
