- She was born in South Bend, Ind. to parents, George and Mary Pence. She was a grader at the Consolidated Tomoka Packing House in Lake Placid. She served her country during World War II in the U.S. Marine Corps and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Bussiere is survived by her loving daughter, Patricia Moore; son, Steven Bussiere; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
