- ASHBY -- Dorothy A. Dotty (Bussiere) Longley, 77, of 226 West Road, died Thursday, Nov. 17, in her home, after an illness. She was born on Nov. 6, 1928, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late Joseph and Mabel (Keough) Bussiere.Mrs. Longley worked for the Sears & Roebuck Company for 21 years before her retirement in 1988. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling with her husband to Ireland and other European countries. She was an avid bowler at the former Hub Bowling Alley. She was a wonderful cook and skilled baker.Mrs. Longley leaves her husband, Stephen L. Longley; four daughters, Diane M. Bedard and her husband Alan of Westminster, Joanne Z. Thereault and her husband Michael of Ashburnham, Stephanie L. Longley of Peterborough, N.H., and Mary E. Flores and her husband Isidoro of Manchester, N.H.; one sister, Agnes Parrow and her husband Thadeous of Arizona; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.LONGLEY -- On Nov. 17, Dorothy A. (Bussiere) Longley, 77, of Ashby. The funeral and burial will be private. Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg is directing arrangements.
