- BUSSIERE -Shirley W. -1925-2008 Utica, Mich. -Shirley William "Bill" Bussiere, 83, died Feb. 21, 2008, at Beaumont Hospital, Troy, after a brief illness. He was born in the Pinardville section of Goffstown, N.B., on Feb. 5, 1925, the son of Peter and Margaret (Mehegan) Bussiere. Mr, Bussiere attended local schools, He enlisted in the U. S. Navy during World War II, seeing action in both the Pacific and European theatres. He graduated from Hesser College. He moved to Michigan in 1954, retiring from Samon Printing Co., Utica. MT. Bussiere was an avid fisherman and an accompli shed photographer, both of which he enjoyed in bis yearly visits to Manchester. Later in life he enjoyed woodcarving, participating in various fiea markets and traveling. Mr. Bussiere belonged to Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a proud veteran. So, he had a burial with military honors, in Utica Cemetery 1864. He is survived by his wife of 39 years., Patricia (Mutchall) Bussiere, a sister, Irene Griffin and a brother-in-Iaw, Dan, ofLitchfield, N.H. ; a nephew, Matthew Griffin of Auburn, N..H.; nieces Beth Louis of New Boston, N.H., Lisa Brideau of Nashua, N.H., and Valerie Janetos of Arlington, Mass. He was preceded by a sister, Dorothy Garnache, in March 2007.
