- BURRILLVILLE - Normand H. Bussiere, 61, of Reservoir Road, Pascoag, died yesterday at home after a six-month illness. He was the husband Jacqueline A. (Dupont) Bussiere. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Samuel and Rose (Faubert) Bussiere.
Mr. Bussiere was a construction worker for 23 years for the J. H. Lynch and Sons Co., Cumberland. Before that he worked for many years for the Uniroyal Co., formerly of Woonsocket. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Laborers International Union, Local 271. He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. He also is survived by a son; two daughters; a sister, Lorraine Cournoyer of Smithfield; and seven grandchildren. His funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the Tucker-Quinn Funeral Home, 649 Putnam Ave. (Route 44), Greenville section of Smithfield, with a Mass at 10 at St. Joseph Church, Sayles Avenue, Pascoag. Burial with military honors will be in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
