She was born in Northfield, Vermont on May 21, 1933 daughter of the late Melbourne and Marion (Harley) Williamson. On March 17, 1977 she was united in marriage to Joseph Brown at Mystic, Ct. Mr. Brown died October 14, 1999. Mrs. Brown is survived by two sons David Bussiere of Virginia Beach, VA and Brian Bussiere of Norwich, two brothers Ronald Williamson of Norwich and Melbourne Williamson Jr. of Voluntown and one grandson David Bussiere Jr.. Marlene was predeceased by two sisters Shirley Trelli and Beverly Carbonneau and one brother Donald Williamson. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11AM at the Cummings-Gagne Funeral Home 82 Cliff St. Norwich, CT. Burial will follow at Pachaug Cemetery in Griswold. Calling hours are at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
