Mary Bussières, beloved wife for 58 years of Frank Bussières of Calgary, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, 24 October, after a lengthy illness. A loving, witty, humorous mother and grandmother, she is mourned by her husband Frank, her three daughters, her son, and their families: Yolande (Dr Paul Boiteau, Patrick, Tanya and Tamara); Michelle (Robert Walsh, Christopher and Brittany); Simone Bussières (Richard Speiss); and Jean-François (Melanie Kwong). She is also survived by her brothers Bill (Phyllis) of London, ON and Bob of Pickering, ON. Mary also leaves behind members of her extended family: Carolyn Bowerman, Peter and Mary Ann Bussiere, Bernard O'Dowd, her nieces, nephews and friends. Your love and support meant so much to her. Mary was predeceased by her sister Marian Bowers and her brother George. Mary's positive outlook on life, her consistent support for her family, unconditional love, generosity and desire to help others shall not be forgotten. Her love of flowers and all things yellow will be a daily reminder she is with us. Her beloved Habs have an eternal fan. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Saint Pius X, Calgary on 31 October. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetic Association's CAMP BANTING, Ottawa and District Branch, 45 Montreal Rd, Ottawa, ON, K1L 6E8, would be appreciated by Mary.
