Agnes was a highly skilled seamstress and worked as a supervisor at Lesnow Manufacturing in Easthampton for many years and became the plant superintendent at their Holyoke factory before opening her own shop called "The Stitchery" on Maple St. in Holyoke. She was predeceased by her loving husband Henry of 61 years and her son Roland. She is survived by her children Elaine A. Tetreault of Holyoke, Louise Anderson of Hatfield and Conie Blake of Bellevue WA, Henry J., Jr. of Swanville ME, and Robert J. of Hudson FL, a sister Sally Backurz of Shalimar FL, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Agnes was a kind, generous and loving Mother who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Visiting hours will be at the Dillon & Edward F. Day Funeral Home 124 Chestnut St., Holyoke on Wed. June 26th from 11 to 2 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 2 with burial to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
