- LEWISTON - Robert J. Lagasse, 40, of 123 Crowley Road, Lewiston, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Aug. 30, at Central Maine Medical Center.He was born in Lewiston on May 5, 1965, the son of Louis Sr., and Marie (Gervais) Lagasse. He grew up in New Auburn and was a graduate of Edward Little High School in the Class of 1983.He was employed as a forklift operator at Dingley Press in Lisbon.He loved to play golf and was a member of Springbrook Golf Course. He also enjoyed playing softball and watching his children play sports. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.He is survived by his wife, the former Celine Bussiere, whom he married on Dec. 21, 1985; one daughter, Stephanie Lagasse and her significant other, Michael Violette; one son, Ryan "Ryino" Lagasse; his mother, Marie Lagasse; two brothers, Daniel Lagasse and Louis Lagasse Jr.; two sisters, Sandra Sieckowski and her husband, Gary, and Philippa Auclair and her husband, Steve; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ray and Doris (Filteau) Bussiere; one sister-in-law, Brigite Babine and her husband, John; nieces and nephews, Michelle, Ben, Joey, John Jr., Jessica and Jacqueline; and great-nieces and nephews, Mark, Emmanual, Garyson and Maya.He was predeceased by his father, Louis P. Lagasse Sr.; and his brother-in-law, Raymond Bussiere Jr.
