- BUSSIERE, Alice Marie, 98, of Fort Myers, FL passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. She was the devoted wife to the late Maurice J. Bussiere. Alice is survived by her two daughters, Diane Nicastro and her husband Robert of North Fort Myers, FL and Maureen Downing and her husband Greg of Albany, OR; her grandchildren, Nicole DelGiudice and her husband John of Leominster, Dr. Terrence Aussant and his wife Shari of Middleboro, Desiree Sage and her fiancé Jacob Insixiengmay both of Fort Myers, FL, Pink Hinson V of Fort Myers, FL, Julie Nicoletti and husband Andy of Middletown, RI and R. Vito Nicastro, PhD of Stoughton; her sister, Bette Jones of Ocala, FL and her sister-in-law, Alice Bussiere of Pawtucket, RI; also her 12 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Barbara Aguiar. Alice was born on April 17, 1924 in Attleboro, MA and a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Lucia M. (Allard) Joubert. She was a longtime resident of Attleboro, moving to Plainville in 1998 then settling in Fort Myers, FL in 2005. Alice attended the Attleboro school system. She enjoyed motorcycle trips with her late husband and family and boating at their summer home on Glen Charlie Pond, Wareham. Alice was full of adventures and even went skydiving on her 87th birthday. She was an avid card player with her friends and family. The family would like to thank Calusa Harbour and Hope Hospice of Fort Myers for the wonderful care and compassion shown to Alice Funeral services will be held privately and a private burial will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
