Jeanne Irene Bussiere, 74, of Nashua, passed away peacefully with her partner, Linda by her side, on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born in Lowell, MA on June 21, 1942 to the late Joseph and Margaret (Paré) Bussiere.

Jeanne was a 1961 graduate of the Notre Dame Academy in Tyngsboro, MA. Following her graduation, she worked for Sanders in Nashua, doing assembly and repair. She later worked at Hanscom Air Force Base for many years as a cashier. She worked at the Bedford, MA VA Hospital for 24 years, until her retirement. Jean would fondly reminisce about her years at the Bedford VA.

Jean lived her life courageously with joy and love with no regrets. Even though cancer did its worse, it never came close to touching her heart or her spirit.
Jeanne was a passionate Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. One fond moment is when she was able to have her picture taken with Stephen Gostkowski. She was involved with Al-Anon from 1980 up until her death, and through Al-Anon, she formed many lifelong friendships. She was a quiet and positive influence on the many lives she touched. Jeanne will be best remembered for her kindhearted spirit; even while on hospice, her primary doctor, Dr. Jaramillo, came to see her said that every time Jean came to the office, she would make her smile.
