- Florence Kurowski, 91, of Pulaski died Thursday morning, August 25, 2005, at Harmony Haus in Pulaski. The daughter of the late Eli and Ernestine (Faford) Bussiere was born Feb. 13, 1914, in Chassell, Michigan. Her family moved to Pulaski, where she graduated from Pulaski High School. She married Peter Kurowski in 1938. He preceded her death in July of 1991. After working for the local grocery store for a number of years, Florence went on to a 27-year career as a teller for the Pulaski State Bank. She was a member of Assumption B.V.M. Parish, Pulaski, where she had been a member of the Council of Catholic Women for many years.Survivors include 2 sons and 1 daughter-in-law, Ronald Bussiere, Panama Canal Zone, Jack and Polly Kurowski, Hudson, Ohio; 4 grandchildren, Dirksen, Cameron, Paige, and Amy; 4 great-grandchildren, Craig, Sophie, Lute, and Neil; 1 sister, Beatrice Erdman, St. Francis; and 1 sister-in-law, Dorothy Bussiere, Flintville.In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Bussiere and one brother-in-law, Art Erdman.Friends may call at Assumption B.V.M. Church, Pulaski after 9:30 a.m. Monday. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church.
