She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and gardening. She was married to George Demers, who died on June 11, 1949. Mrs. Demers was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Family members include three daughters, Jeannine T. Haney, Mary E. Nault, and Helen D. Kisella; seven sons, Leo R, John C, Richard A, Fernand, Albert G, Raymond, and George P. Demers; 25 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille Anderson, and Pauline Theriault. A calling hour was held in the Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union St., corner of Concord St., Manchester. The funeral with a Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in Mount Carmel Nursing Home Chapel.
Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery, Newport, VT.
