- BUSSIERE Cecile Bussiere, age 91 and previously of Stratford, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 19, 2010 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the devoted wife of the late Gaston Bussiere. Mrs. Bussiere was born in Canada September 1, 1919, daughter of the late George and Marie Ann Mastae Geoffroy. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church in Stratford, and later St. Margaret Mary Church in Shelton. She was the beloved mother of Shirley E. Orfino and her husband, Philip, Rachel Harper and her husband, Winston, Georgette Mackey, Lucille Zeglen, and her husband, Ronald, and the late Robert Bussiere. She was the sister of Oscar Geoffroy, Emilia Labor, and Jean Perkins. She also leaves several grandchildren;, 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 9 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Church, 380 Long Hill Ave., Shelton. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
