- Joseph L. G. George Theriault, of Rindge, NH and formerly of Stoneham, MA, died peacefully at the Mary Immaculate Nursing and Restorative Center after a period of failing health. He was a son of the late Louis G. and Esther (Arseneau) Theriault. He was raised and educated locally, and served honorably in the US Army, attaining the rank of Corporal and serving as a Topographer in the European and Middle Eastern Theaters during World War II. After his honorable service, George worked as a salesman, cabinet maker, teacher and locksmith throughout the Boston area. He enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as volunteering with the local Boy Scout troop and Explorer Post. George was a 3rd order Franciscan in Methuen, MA, and enjoyed Rosary making and cooking. He was predeceased by his daughter, Christine Cosgrove-Anderson in 2007 and his son Michael Theriault in 1952. Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Pauline (Bussieres) Theriault, of Rindge, NH; his children; Dennis Theriault of Haverhill, MA, Marie Sherman of Groveland, MA, Pauline Kearns of Clarkson, MI, and Gizelle Grover of Rindge, NH; his 10 grandchildren, his brother, Charles Theriault of Wilmington, MA; and greatly loved and missed by his great-grandchildren.
