- Estelle I. (Bussiere) Wunschel, 83 years old, died in Morton Hospital, Taunton, on Saturday evening, April, 5, 2014. She was the wife of William Wunschel.
Formerly a resident of Acushnet, she was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Armand and Emily (Cormier) Bussiere. Estelle was educated in New Bedford Schools. While living in Acushnet she was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier parish. She worked for a few years for the Acushnet Company. A home maker most of her life Estelle realized a life long dream of travel. Upon her husband Williams retirement and purchase of a motorhome they crisscrossed the United States, eventually settling in Florida. They summered for many years at the KOA Campgrounds in Middleboro. They recently settled in Taunton.
Besides her husband, William, she is survived by her children, Steven Wunschel and his wife Elaine of Fairhaven, Linda Royer and her husband Dale of Taunton, Christine Jackson of VA, and Lori Dufresne and her husband David of New Bedford. She was the mother in law of the late George Jackson and his the sister of Denis Bussiere and his wife Dianne of FL. Estelle is the grandmother of 11, the great grandmother of 11 and the great great grandmother of 1.
Family funeral services were held with the assistance of the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton, MA. Interment was held in St. Francis Cemetery, Taunton.
