Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral from the Corsentino Home for Funerals, 620 Second Ave., corner of John Street, Elizabeth, N.J., on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at 8:45 a.m. thence to St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Elizabeth, where at 10:30 a.m. a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, N.J. Born in Fall River, Mass., Mr. Bussiere lived in Iselin for 31 years before moving to Pittstown, N.J., in 1982. He showed hot-rod cars during the 1950s and 1960s and raced stock cars in the 1960s and 1970s. Mr. Bussiere served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific and in Europe from 1944 to 1950. He was the owner of Supreme Auto Body in Avenel, N.J., for over 35 years, retiring in 1992. Mr. Bussiere was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Bessie (nee Reina) Bussiere; loving daughter, Renee Bussiere; son, Leo J. and his wife, Leslie Bussiere; sisters, Theresa Bussiere and Delores Kovalinsky; brothers, Roland and Walter Bussiere, and three adoring grandchildren, Leo Edward, Zachary and Sean Bussiere. He was predeceased by his son, Leo Lionel Bussiere Jr.; his mother, Ella Bussiere, and sisters, Ella Messenger and Lorraine Caramagno.
