- Scott was very loving and devoted to his family. He cherished his wife, Mary, and adored his two little girls, Rachel and Kimmy.
A truer friend is hard to find.
Scott was killed instantly after his motorcycle hit a culvert on 63 going towards Prairieton, then thrown into a telephone phone poll, and then a poll barn. He only had one visible scratch on his foot.

Funeral services for Robert Scott Busiere, 28, Route 21, Terre Haute, who was killed Monday in a motorcycle accident, are to be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Bedino Chapel of the Valley. The Rev. Alvin Ricklefs will officiate and burial will be in Bethesda Memorial Park. Visitation is to be after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home where masonic memorial services are to be at 8 p.m. He was an employee of Anaconda Aluminum and had served in Vietnam with the Marine Corps. He was a member of West Terre Haute Masonic Lodge No. 687, F&AM, Terre Haute Eagles Lodge and Local 103 Aluminum Workers International. Surviving are his wife, Mary E.; two daughters, Rachel C. and Kimberly F., at home; his parents, Robert and Mary Busiere, Route 23; a sister, Pamela Kay Busiere, Route 23; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Shanahan, Terre Haute.
